The STIGA SCM 440 FS is a strong and reliable hand-propelled aluminium cylinder lawn mower. This manoeuvrable machine works silently and efficiently thanks to the contactless hover cutting system with five hardened steel blades and a cutting width of 40 cm. It has an ergonomic handle, a single lever for quickly adjusting the cutting height from 25 to 76 mm, and rear rollers for an even grass surface. The blade cover enables practical front deflection of the grass. The SCM 440 FS can be fitted with a front grass collector which is purchased separately.
Developed for all gardening newbies or those gardeners who want to act quick and achieve a certain garden quality.

How do you adjust the cutting height?
It is adjusted by operating a single handle, on the right side of the machine. There are 9 settings to choose from, which allows you to position the blades closer to or further away from the ground.
Is it possible to sharpen the grass cutter blades?
Adjusting and sharpening the cutting head is possible but this should be done by an authorised vendor, to avoid the blades being damaged.
What is the maximum garden size for this product?
The STIGA cylinder mower is suggested to take care of small garden, maximum 50 sqm.
