Product details and specs

The Combi 53 SQ B is an extremely versatile self-propelled lawn mower with a 51 cm cutting width. The centralised adjustment enables the cutting height to be set to 6 different positions ranging from 22 to 80 mm. The 163 cc Briggs & Stratton 675 EXi series Ready Start petrol engine with a net power output of 2.59 kW @ 2800 rpm ensures reliability and ease of use. The Combi 53 SQ B has a quick-fit 60 litre canvas grass collector with grassbag full indicator. This lawn mower has a strong steel body designed for ultimate cutting performance and an aluminium grip on the front panel for convenient handling. The STIGA Combi 53 SQ B has an adjustable and ergonomic handle which can be folded using a quick-release system, making the device comfortable and easy to use. This 4-in-1 lawn mower can be used in collection mode, as well as in three other cutting modes: rear discharge (without collector), side discharge (with deflector) and mulching (using the mulching plug). The deflector, mulching plug and collector are supplied as standard. The 280 mm rear wheels are ideal for tackling uneven terrain.

Is the product already assembled in the box?
The product is almost fully assembled when you open the box. The main parts have been put together and the remaining elements are easy to assemble. Follow the directions in the instruction manual to ensure the lawn mower is assembled correctly.
Should the lawn mower be protected from rain?
All STIGA lawn mowers are IPX4 certified, meaning that they are not damaged by rain. However, it is recommended to keep the lawn mower in a garage or store it indoors. Full information can be found in the instruction manual.
Which fuel and engine oil are recommended?
You should use petrol as fuel. In terms of engine oil, we recommend using the specific STIGA oil, which can be purchased separately. This will guarantee the best engine performance and optimal lubrication.
What cutting deck height is recommended for the mulching function?
The mulching system allows you to cut the grass into fine pieces, which remain on the lawn, restore nutrients and support growth.
To use this function, turn off the engine, remove the bag, insert the mulching plug provided and set the chassis height so that the grass will be cut to a length that does not exceed a third of the total grass height of the lawn.
What happens if there are small objects in the garden?
When the lawn mower is in use, you should look out for any stones, pine cones or other small objects which may be on the lawn. These objects could damage the blade and hit nearby objects or people.
