Description

Mowing your lawn should be a breeze, not a headache. Just 73.5 cm wide, with an outer turning radius of 1.62m, the STIGA Swift lets you cruise through narrow gaps and around awkward flower beds to make your garden neat and tidy in no time. And because it uses the latest STIGA ePower battery technology, you can say goodbye to fumes, vibrations and noise – and keep your neighbours happy.

Each of the 4 included 5 Ah 48V STIGA ePower batteries are intelligently synchronised to boost performance and runtime , and preserve battery health so you can rely on them for longer. They’re shareable, too, allowing you to work simultaneously with other STIGA ePower gardening tools in the 5, 7 and 9 Series. The Swift continues mowing with 4 and 3 batteries and keep on driving with 2.

What’s more, it’s designed for every level of mowing experience. Simply take a seat, push the one-start button, and off you go. The very low centre of gravity and light steering makes even the toughest mows a simple job – and the advanced ergonomics keep you comfortable and safe at every turn.

Choose between three different blade speeds to suit each task with the new STIGA Smart Cutting Mode. The counter-rotating blades work cleverly with the redesigned cutting deck for a better cut, while the deck’s new blend of polypropylene and shock-absorbing additives increases airflow for more powerful grass suction and a quieter mowing experience. Grass moves directly from the blades to the collecting bag through a concealed tunnel, so it’s collected and packed more efficiently.

Central collection tunnel
The cutting deck equipping the STIGA Swift riding tractor has been completely redesigned, both in terms of materials and structure, to further improve the grass collection and energy efficiency of the machine. This makes the collection of grass much more effective, avoiding cuttings falling on the lawn and improving the machine's energy-efficiency.

Swift is the first collecting ride-on in the Market with shareable batteries. The included 4x 48V ePower batteries (3x7.5Ah + 1x5Ah) can be used on all hand-held tools from the 5, 7 and 9 Series. With the new Swift, you will both get longer runtimes and healthier batteries, thanks to its smart energy management that synchronises the available charge in the batteries, avoiding any kind of stress and prolonging their lifetime and performance. OUT of Swift, they can be used on any STIGA 48V garden tool, including snow throwers.
ePower 48V battery system
The 48V ePower battery system includes shareable batteries with different capacities from 2 Ah to 7.5 Ah. Smart, safe and durable, STIGA ePower 48V batteries can handle long and demanding gardening jobs all year round, with 1 to 4 batteries per tool. 48V batteries power a full range of garden tools for every task, from mowing, edging to leaf blowing, hedge trimming and even snow clearing.
STIGA Smart cutting mode
All STIGA electric tractor mowers, Swift and Gyro are equipped with the STIGA Smart cutting mode function. While mowing, you can adjust the blade speed on 3 different settings, depending on the result you wish to see and on the conditions of the grass you are taking care of. Availabe speeds are Standard, Boost and Eco-Mode (which helps improving energy-efficiency). You can choose the blade speed directly from the dashboard, by simply pushing a button. A green LED-indicator will let you know at which speed you are cutting - you can change it anytime you want, while mowing.
STIGA.GO app with virtual dashboard
Use your smartphone as a dashboard while driving, thanks to the STIGA.GO App! By installing the phone on the steering wheel throught the holder, you can always see real-time information about the working session: speed, battery charge left, but also a feedback from the tractor mower on cutting efficiency, so you can adjust either speed or cutting height and achieve the best cutting results.

STIGA Swift can cover up to 2.900 sqm on one single charge, with 4 batteries. When you select the Eco-mode you can save up to 40% energy mowing up to 2.200 sqm on a single charge.
How many batteries are needed for this battery riding tractor?
This lawn tractor has 4 ePower batteries included (2x7.5Ah + 2x5Ah). These are sharebale batteries that can be used with STIGA 5, 7 and 9 Series garden tools. You can keep on your gardening activities since Swift keeps driving with two batteries.
How can I choose the best cutting mode for my grass condition?
From the dashboard you can choose between three different cutting modes:
1) ECO - for least demanding cutting conditions and very frequent cuts, low grass, soft, not too thick;
2) STANDARD - for usual, weekly cutting sessions (up to 2.5 cm) on both soft and hard grass;
3) BOOST - for more demanding cutting conditions, either quicker cut or harder, thicker, taller grass
Is it possible to connect the lawn mower tractor with my smartphone?
Yes, you can use your smartphone as a dashboard while driving, thanks to the STIGA.GO App! What is included in the box?
The STIGA Swift box includes the ride-on mower, four 48V ePower batteries, a single standard battery charger (plug-in). Mulching kit and trailer hitch are sold separately.
What is the proper way to clean the machine after mowing the grass?
The exterior of the machine must be cleaned with water and detergent, paying attention not to get water in the electrical system, motor and circuit board located under the instrument panel. The collection bag should be emptied and cleaned of residue, then remounted so the cutting assembly can be washed, and then removed, rinsed and allowed to dry. When washing the cutting device assembly and the expulsion chute, the collection bag or rear discharge shield must be fitted, the operator must be seated, the cutting device assembly must be in position “1”. Then connect a water hose to the appropriate pipe fittings and allow the water to flow for a few minutes while keeping the cutting devices in motion.
