We have worked hard to improve your mowing experience with the autonomous robot even further. The upgrade is completely free of charge and will allow you to force a border cut, move the perimeter via the app, use a signal checker to help identify the ideal charging station position and so much more.
Alert for robot owners - Check the push notification on your phone and complete the update. This article will introduce you to all the new features. Let’s dive in!
Automatic Robot update
Your robot always up-to-date!
You can now select the automatic firmware update, which means you will always be using the latest version. The updates will be performed at night, while the robot is charging, in order to avoid interference with the mowing program. The app will notify you about the scheduling and completion.
Of course, you can opt to continue updating the software manually. If you choose the manual option, you will be notified whenever a new version is available for download. You can then set your preferred time to run the update.
Move perimeter segments via app
No need to drive the robot!
We made the editing experience of your perimeter not only more flexible, but also easier and faster. You are now able to move existing perimeter segments or single points with great precision directly in your STIGA.GO app. Slots can be adjusted by 5, 10 or 20cm. Watch the video to experience this new feature in action. Needless to say, you can of course continue to edit your perimeter in the usual way, by driving the robot around your garden.
Force a border cut
You are in control!
With the new upgrade, you can give a direct command to the robot in order to have the perimeter cut, without waiting for the scheduled one. This action will be performed separately on each individual zone, which means you have full flexibility on which of your zones to force border cuts.
Customizable long exit
Flexibility for charging base installation!
The default setting of your docking path is 200cm, however you can now select the distance of the docking path from 50 to 300 cm in 50 cm increments. This allows more flexibility for the installation of the charging station. Areas with weak signal can now be considered, which is not only better for the robot owner, but also for the robot itself.

Real-time information on signal coverage!
To help you choose the right place for the docking station, you can drive the robot and receive real-time coverage information. This feature acts as your personal support system in case of connectivity issues during installation. You will find it in the device information detail page.
