Did you know our robot mower ensures a perfect cut that gives you beautiful, healthy grass?

Letting your lawn be mown with an autonomous robotic lawn mower is not only convenient, as it allows you to enjoy your garden at all times; it is also better for the health of the grass! Discover more here below.

Does the STIGA autonomous robot lawn mower collect grass?

NO, the STIGA autonomous robot mower does not collect grass. Precisley, we call it a 'lawn maintainer', as it cuts different areas every day, keeping the grass at the desired height. Grass cuttings are scattered onto the lawn, then decompose acting as a natural fertiliser - a bit like it happens with mulching. If you are curious to know more about mulching and its benefits, visit this page and get all the info you need.

Neat cut, healthier lawn

Our robot guarantees a neat and safe cut thanks to its cutting device. This means your lawn will be healthier and more beautiful - and this is due to several features of the robot itself, such as:

Precise, superior cutting blades

Our robots are provided with 6 or 4 blades - depending if it's the bigger or smaller model. They rotate at a superior speed, up to 1850 rpm and are longer than average, which means their cutting surface is wider, making their cut more efficient. Our blades are made of a particolar carbon steel compound, making them stronger and flexible at the same time, so they can resist when impacting stones and obstacles. We offer high quality and high-performance cuts that last through time.

Better looking and healthier lawn

Your grass will look healthier and greener thanks to the neat cut given by our autonomous robot mowers! The health of your lawn depends also on how you cut it; if the cut is not neat enough, the tip of every grass blade will need more time to seal and heal and the look of it will get more dry and yellow. The blades of a STIGA autonomous robotic lawn mower can give a healthy grass, neatly cut and quickly recovered.

All the time needed to be healthier and softer

STIGA autonomous robot mowers can manage the lawn in as little as 2 mowing cycles a day, letting the grass plenty of time to seal in the moisture and heal from the injury caused by the cut - By doing so, the grass stays healthier and softer. On the other hand, if the lawn is mown several times a day, it does not have enogh time to rest and the grass gets too dry, which means it turns yellow and it is unhealthy. With just 2 mowing cycles a day it leaves more than enough time between the mows for the grass blades to properly recover, stand up proud again, and continue to grow healthy.

 STIGA ePower at its heart

STIGA robot mowers are engineered to mow the lawn and they feature our patented ePower battery at its heart. Built on premium lithium-ion cells, which contain chemistry optimised for reliability and durability. So, even after 1,500 charging cycles – equivalent to around 4 years of use – the battery still operates at over 80% capacity, meaning it's basically new. One of the best features of the autonomous robot is that it gives complete freedom to enjoy your garden! It only needs two cycles a day, which means it will give you a lot of time to enjoy your green patch of planet without worrying about a robot working up and down. Then, in order to keep your lawn healthy and soft, always keep in mind that it is important to schedule the mowing sessions well, with at least 5 hours between one session and another.

A correct maitenance is key

To always have the best possible performance in terms of safety and durability, you must pay attention also to the maintenance activities for your autonomous robot mower. For example, after a whole mowing season, the blade screws of the autonomous robot mower may be dirty or damaged, which could compromise the cutting ability of the robot mower. Therefore, before storing your robotic lawn mower, remember to replace both blades and screws (one kit is included at purchase, further are available as accessory both at the dealer's and on stiga.com) to have it ready for the new mowing season.
