Stiga S.p.A. (Tax Code 07684381002), with registered office in Castelfranco Veneto (TV) - Italy, provides this information notice in accordance with EU Regulation 2023/2854 (Data Act) in order to illustrate, in relation to the connected products and related services it provides, among other things, the type of data generated by them and how they can be accessed. Please read this notice before entering into a contract for a connected product/related service.
1. Connected products
With reference to the Robot Lawnmower product, as a connected product, we inform you that it may generate the following information:

The data collected and/or obtained may be used for registration, creation of a personal account, use of the services offered by the App and for maintenance and after-sales technical assistance purposes, as well as for statistical analysis to improve the functioning of Stiga products and services.
The data will be stored for the duration indicated in the table below. Users are free to delete their accounts at any time.

Data relating to registration with the App will be stored for the entire duration of registration with the App and deleted when the relevant account is deactivated. Data processed for the management of your requests will be stored for the time necessary for such management and related obligations. Data processed for the purposes of maintenance and after-sales technical assistance will be stored for a maximum of 10 years. Data relating to the GPS location of your smartphone for accessing additional services and features of the App (e.g. find your nearest dealer, etc.) will be processed until consent is revoked and/or the account is deactivated.

Statistical analysis to improve the functioning of Stiga products and services:

Data used for statistical analysis in aggregate form will be stored for a maximum of 5 years. |
To access data, request that it be shared with third parties and, where applicable, terminate sharing, or more generally to communicate with Stiga S.p.A., each user must send a communication todigital.innovation@stiga.com .
If the user believes that there has been a violation of Chapter II of the Data Act, they may lodge a complaint with the competent authority pursuant to Article 37 of the Data Act.
3. Trade secrets, user obligations and privacy
In relation to certain types of data that may constitute trade secrets of the data controller, in the event of the user exercising their right of access, Stiga S.p.A. reserves the right to assess the technical and organisational measures to be taken to preserve the confidentiality of the shared data. It is understood that, if Stiga S.p.A. believes that the disclosure of the data could cause serious economic damage despite the security measures taken by the user, it may refuse to comply with a request for access on a case-by-case basis, providing adequate justification.
The user is prohibited from using the data obtained following a request for access to develop a product that competes with the product from which the data originates; similarly, the user is prohibited from sharing the same data with a third party with the same intention and from using the data to obtain information on the economic situation, resources and production methods of Stiga S.p.A.
It is understood that the provisions of Regulation (EU) 679/2016 apply in relation to the exercise of rights concerning personal data.
