In this episode of Real Garden Stories, we head to Sweden to meet Sven-Erik and explore his 1,500 m² garden. Driven by curiosity, he’s now the proud owner of an autonomous robot.
Sven-Erik lives in the town of Tvååker, where he and his wife have enjoyed their home and beautiful garden since 1976.
Their home sits on a generous 1,500 m² plot, with around 1,000 m² of it dedicated to lawn. It’s more than just grass—it’s a space that holds memories, laughter, and the footsteps of everyone who visits.
His wife lovingly cares for the greenhouse and vegetable beds, which include a treasured rhubarb patch. Dipped in sugar, its tangy sweetness is a beloved treat for their grandchildren.
Another corner of the garden bursts with energy and laughter — a space just for the grandkids, where they can play and make their own garden memories.
At the heart of it all is Sven-Erik, guardian of the lawn.
