At 60 years old, Robert lives on the first floor of an apartment building in a community of 106 families. Together, they share responsibility for maintaining several communal green spaces divided into different zones.

Robert is one of six dedicated neighbors who volunteer to care for their community gardens. Driven by their love for the neighborhood, they work together—free of charge—to keep the outdoor spaces welcoming and enjoyable for everyone.
For years, the team relied on a STIGA Park machine equipped with a cutting deck and sweeper. While it served them well, they wanted to simplify lawn care — so they introduced a STIGA robot mower.
Now, the robot handles the central lawns and the areas behind the buildings, keeping the grass perfectly trimmed and uniform every day.
The result? A greener, healthier lawn that stays beautiful all season long.
Managing the robot mower is easy, making it simple for Robert to monitor its progress. The team enjoys working alongside the robot and loves experimenting with different mowing patterns.
While the robot can’t reach some edges and borders, Robert and his neighbors happily handle those areas by hand.
It’s inspiring to see how much the community values their green spaces. Around the two buildings, special spots like a children’s play area and quiet corners for older residents create places for connection.
