TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE INITIATIVE

The "Robot trade-in” is a promotional campaign organized by STIGA S.p.A., having its registered office in via del Lavoro 6 - 31033 Castelfranco Veneto (TV) Italy, in collaboration with the STIGA entities that are part of the STIGA Group (hereinafter, referred to as “STIGA”) and the Dealer who join the Initiative (hereinafter, STIGA and the Dealers will jointly referred to as the “Promoter”).

The Initiative is subject to the following terms and conditions. 

DEFINITIONS

Within these T&Cs, the following terms shall have the following meanings:

• “Customer” means a natural person who is eligible for the Discount according to Initiative T&Cs who:

• is at least 18 years old;

• purchased during the Purchasing Period one, or more, STIGA Robot from a STIGA Dealer, without exercising the right of withdrawal under Directive 2011/83/EU;

• is a consumer within the meaning of Directive 2011/83/EU, and, therefore, acts for non-professional purposes (wholesaler or a retailer acting on behalf of end customers are excluded).

• “Dealer” means a STIGA Dealer who joined the Initiative.

• “Discount” means the discount(s) specified in Annex 1, applied by the Dealer to Customers at the time of purchase of the corresponding STIGA Robot , provided that the Discount T&Cs described under Article 1 are met.  

• Discount Terms and Conditions” means the conditions under which the Consumer is entitled to the Discount that are described in Article 2 below

• “Force Majeure Event” means circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including, without limitation, acts of God, earthquakes, fires, floods, acts of terrorism, sabotage, strikes, epidemics, riots, power failures, computer failure and any such circumstances beyond reasonable control that may cause interruption, acts of civil or military authority; governmental actions. 

• “Initiative” means the following Robot Trade - in initiative designed to promote the purchase of the STIGA Autonomous Robots.

• “Period” the Initiative applies to purchases made between March 1st, 2026 and September 30th, 2026.  

• “STIGA Robot(s)” means the Autonomous Robots branded STIGA listed under Annex 1. 

• “Old Robot” means any wired or autonomous lawnmower robot, including those bearing trademarks different from STIGA, purchased after December 31st, 2014. 

The Customer’s right to the Discount is subject to the following conditions.

1. The Customer is eligible to receive the Discount from the Dealer on the purchase of the corresponding STIGA Robot provided that the following Discount T&Cs are met:

1. The Customer must return an Old Robot to the Dealer as part of the trade-in process at the time of purchase of the new STIGA Robot.

2. The Customer must provide a valid proof of purchase showing that the Old Robot was purchased after December 31st, 2014. If proof of purchase is unavailable, the manufacturer's label on the Old Robot must indicate that it was produced after 2014 (not including the year 2014).

2. If the Discount Terms and Conditions set forth above are met and the documentation provided is valid, the Customer receives the Discount directly from the Dealer when purchasing the STIGA Robot.

3. The Dealer shall be solely responsible for the managing of the Old Robot traded-in for the purpose of the Initiative and will be free to use it as deemed appropriate

1. Limitation Of Liability

1. The Customer acknowledges that the Discount applied is entirely managed by the Dealer and therefore waives any action or claim against Stiga.

2. STIGA shall not be responsible for any damage or loss caused by the actions or omissions of the Dealers, who are solely responsible towards their Customers.

3. Stiga assumes no responsibility for the unavailability of the Initiative due to Force Majeure events, for the unavailability of the registration page or any links, nor for any technical errors or issues or defects which may prevent the Customer from accessing them. Stiga is not liable, to the extent permitted by law, for any damages, losses, or data deletions caused by technical malfunctions, delays, viruses, or similar issues. 

 

2. MISCELLANEOUS

1. THE PROMOTER RESERVES THE RIGHT TO MODIFY THESE T&CS AS WELL AS TO EXTEND AND/OR CANCEL THE INITIATIVE AT ANY TIME WITHOUT PRIOR NOTICE AND WITHOUT CAUSE. ANY CHANGES MADE TO THESE INITIATIVE T&CS WILL BECOME EFFECTIVE FROM THE MOMENT OF PUBLICATION ON THE WEBSITE WWW.STIGA.COM.

2. Should single provisions be or become invalid, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions. 

3. The Parties expressly agree that rights and obligations under this Contract will be governed by the laws of the country in which the Customer is resident. The Parties agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Court of the Customer any claim or matter arising out of these Terms & Conditions.
