Antenna-FREE Service - new robot installations 

 

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE OF THE "Antenna Free" SERVICE 
(hereinafter, "T&Cs")
First Robot Activation after 13 October 2025

SUMMARY DOCUMENT

• The User who, upon First Activation, through the App subscribes to the Trial Period of the Antenna Free Service accepts these Terms and Conditions and agrees that: 

1. He/she will enjoy a Trial Period of thirty (30) days from the Acceptance Date during which he/she may validly exercise the right to withdraw from the Antenna Free Service in the manner described below;

2. at the end of the Trial Period, you must notify STIGA, via the App, whether or not you intend to subscribe to the Antenna Free Service or use the Reference Station. If you subscribe to the Antenna Free Service, the same shall be provided free of charge by STIGA for ten (10) years from the Date of Acceptance of these T&Cs (hereinafter, the "Service Term");  

3. at the end of the Service Term, in order to allow the Robot to operate, you must purchase the Antenna Free Service at an annual cost of € 9.99;

4. the choice to subscribe to the Antenna Free Service at the end of the Trial Period as a way to use the Robot is discretionary but not reversible. The User who subscribes to the Antenna Free Service agrees to waive the possibility of installing the Reference Station in the future

5. should he/she wish to withdraw from the Antenna Free Service at the end of the Trial Period granted on the occasion of the First Activation, he/she may proceed to purchase the Antenna Free Service at a later date in the manner indicated in the following document TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE OF THE "Antenna Free" SERVICE - First Activation of the Robot prior to 13 October 2025 - www.stiga.com/uk/antenna-free-service-robot-already-installed

 

These T&Cs do not apply to Robot models A4 or A8. See TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE OF THE "Antenna Free" SERVICE - A4 or A8 Robots.

These T&Cs do not apply to Robots that are used, refurbished or for which First Activation has already been performed on 13 October 2025, for whatever reason. The Terms and Conditions set out in the following document https://www.stiga.com/uk/antenna-free-service-robot-already-installed shall apply to the latter.

STIGA S.p.A., together with the other companies of the Group, offers to the User the "Antenna Free" Service, as defined below, to be used through the STIGA Robots in accordance with the following Terms and Conditions (hereinafter, "T&Cs"). 

The User who communicates to STIGA, via the App, that he/she wishes to subscribe to the Antenna Free Service at the end of the Trial Period confirms his/her acceptance of these T&Cs and further confirms that he/she

1. being at least 18 years old 

2. act for purposes unrelated to any trade, business, craft or professional activity carried out, and that you are purchasing the Service as a consumer (hereinafter, "User").

Any updates to these Terms will be communicated by posting a notice in the App or by posting on the Website, or other method deemed appropriate, before the updated Terms become effective, except for changes required to comply with regulations, which will be effective immediately. By continuing to use the Service after the updated T&Cs take effect, You confirm that You understand and agree to the updated T&Cs.

These T&Cs apply insofar as they do not conflict with mandatory rules of applicable law.

 

1. DEFINITIONS

For the purposes of these T&Cs

"App" means the STIGA.GO app downloadable at the following link [http://app.stiga.com/ ].

First Activation" means the first activation of the Robot by entering it in the "Garage" section of the App;

Acceptance Date" means the point in time when the User accepts these T&Cs via the STIGA.GO App;

Trial Period" means the period of thirty (30) days following the Acceptance Date during which the User may try out the Antenna Free Service. During the Trial Period the User may exercise the right to withdraw from the Antenna Free Service in the manner indicated in Article 7 below.

Reference Station" means the "base station" of the Robot. 

Robot" means any self-contained robot lawnmower in the STIGA range, excluding the A4 and A8 models. These T&Cs do not apply to Robots that are used, refurbished or that for any reason on 13 October 2025 have been First Activated.

"Antenna Free Service" means the service known as "Antenna Free", including any updates, upgrades, modifications, revisions or additions that will be made available to the User. 

Site" means STIGA's website [https://www.stiga.com/uk/].

STIGA" shall mean STIGA S.p.A., a company duly incorporated and registered under Italian law, share capital of EUR 50,000,000.02 fully paid up, tax code and registration number 07684381002, registered office in Via del Lavoro 6, 31033 Castelfranco Veneto (TV) or other company of the Group.

 

2. TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SERVICE

1. The User who performs the procedure of First Activation of the Robot after 13 October 2025 may, at his/her discretion, choose to take advantage of the Trial Period of the Antenna Free Service. 

2. The User who upon First Activation subscribes to the Trial Period of the Antenna Free Service via the App accepts these T&Cs and that:

6. He/she will enjoy a Trial Period of thirty (30) days from the Acceptance Date during which he/she may validly exercise the right to withdraw from the Antenna Free Service in the manner described below;

7. at the end of the Trial Period he/she shall notify STIGA via the App if he/she intends to continue subscribing to the Antenna Free Service. In case of subscription to the Antenna Free Service, the same shall be provided free of charge by STIGA for ten (10) years from the Acceptance Date (hereinafter, "Service Term")  

8. at the end of the Service Term, in order to allow the Robot to operate, you must purchase the Antenna Free Service at an annual cost of € 9.99;

9. the choice of subscribing to the Antenna Free Service as a way to use the Robot is discretionary but not reversible. The User who subscribes to the Antenna Free Service at the end of the Trial Period agrees to waive the possibility of installing the Reference Station in the future. 

10. if at the end of the Trial Period granted on the occasion of the First Activation you do not subscribe to the Service, then you may proceed to purchase the Antenna Free Service at a later date but in the manner indicated in the following document https://www.stiga.com/uk/antenna-free-service-robot-already-installed TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE OF THE SERVICE "Antenna Free" - First Robot Activation prior to 13 October 2025.

3. PRICE

1. At the end of the Term of the Antenna Free Service, the User must purchase the Antenna Free Service at an annual cost of € 9.99.

2. The User must purchase the Antenna Free Service every year. If the Service is not renewed, the Robot will not be able to function.

3. Payment of the Price will be made in a lump sum and must be paid at the time of placing the Purchase Order. Payment made for the Service is non-refundable.

 LICENCE OF USE / INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

5. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to use the Antenna Free Service. 

6. All rights, including intellectual property rights, in or relating to the Antenna Free Service remain the property of STIGA or its licensors. You acknowledge and agree that the Service is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, trade secret, patent and other intellectual property laws. Any form of reverse engineering, decompilation, modification, distribution without permission is prohibited.

7. The availability and functionality of the Service may vary or be subject to restrictions or limitations depending on your location, device used, software version or operating system. 

4. WARRANTY 

1. STIGA shall not be liable for malfunctions caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control. To the extent permitted by applicable law, all representations, warranties, conditions and other terms not expressly stated herein are excluded, including any implied warranties or conditions of non-infringement of third party rights and fitness for a particular purpose. 

2. STIGA does not warrant that your use of the Service will be uninterrupted, available at all times or free from risk, or that it will provide protection against all possible threats or be error-free.

5. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL FROM THE SERVICE

1. The User has the right to withdraw from the Antenna Free Service within thirty (30) days from the Acceptance Date, without having to provide any reason.

2. The right of withdrawal may be exercised by the User by sending an explicit declaration of the desire to withdraw from the Service, in the following ways

3. In the event of withdrawal from the Antenna Free Service within the Trial Period, the User may re-subscribe to the Antenna-FREE Service at a cost of EUR 99.99.  It is the User's responsibility to complete the installation procedure of the Robot and Reference Station through the App.
   

6. PRIVACY

1. Within the framework of the conclusion and execution of the Contracts, STIGA processes the personal data of the Users as data controller for the provision of the Service. The processing of personal data provided by Users is carried out in compliance with the current legislation on the protection of personal data, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and with the Privacy Policy available at the following link: https://www.stiga.com/uk/privacy-policy

7. APPLICABLE LAW AND JURISDICTION

1. The Parties expressly agree that the rights and obligations arising from this Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the country in which the User is resident. 

2. The Parties agree to submit any claim or matter arising out of these T&Cs to the exclusive jurisdiction of the User's Court. 

8. MISCELLANEOUS

1. STIGA RESERVES THE RIGHT TO AMEND AND/OR CANCEL AND/OR TERMINATE THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE "ANTENNA FREE" SERVICE AT ANY TIME, WITHOUT NOTICE AND WITHOUT GIVING REASONS. ANY AMENDMENT TO THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS WILL BE EFFECTIVE UPON POSTING ON THE WEBSITE www.stiga.com OR THE STIGA.GO APP.

2. Limitation of Liability:

STIGA SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF THE USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, LOSS OF DATA, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ECONOMIC LOSS, LOSS OF PROFITS, MORAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING ARISING FROM ACCESS TO MALICIOUS CONTENT, OR ANY LOSS OR DAMAGE WHICH, EXCEPT IN THE CASE OF STIGA'S WILLFUL MISCONDUCT OR GROSS NEGLIGENCE, WAS NOT CAUSED DIRECTLY BY STIGA.

Force majeure. STIGA shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations hereunder due to circumstances beyond STIGA's reasonable and foreseeable control (hereinafter "Force Majeure Events"). For example, Force Majeure Events include: strikes, wars, embargoes, riots, fires, floods or accidents; intervention by civil and military authorities; compliance with laws, rules and government regulations. STIGA's obligations under these T&Cs shall be deemed suspended for the period during which Force Majeure Events occur. In the event of a Force Majeure Event, STIGA will inform the User within a reasonable period of time.

3. Severability Clause. If any provision of these T&Cs is held unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, such provision shall be enforced to the maximum extent permitted and the remaining provisions of these T&Cs shall remain in full force and effect.
