Conventional Warranty STIGA Robot Mowers
This Conventional Warranty applies to the Motors, ePower Batteries and Electronical Parts of all the STIGA Robot Mowers, both wire-guided and autonomous, purchased between September 1st 2022 and December 31st 2025 and registered on the official STIGA website www.stiga.com.
The battery is guaranteed against manufacturing defects for a maximum of 5 years or a maximum of 2,000 charge cycles, whichever comes first.
It is understood that the battery is perishable and its charging capacity will decrease over time, thus reducing the working autonomy of the robot mower without affecting its operation.
This Warranty is meant to be additional to the warranties provided by imperative legal provisions. All warranty rights that may be provided under imperative laws or regulations from time to time applicable, shall remain unaffected. It remains understood that the nullity, illegitimacy, invalidity or ineffectiveness, in whole or in part, of any of the provisions of this Warranty, shall not affect the validity, legitimacy and effectiveness of the remaining provisions of this Warranty.
1. DEFINITIONS
“Purchaser”: the natural person acting for purposes unconnected with any entrepreneurial, commercial, craft or professional activity, who has registered the STIGA lawnmower robot on the www.stiga.com/int/ website.
‘’ePower battery": the battery (or batteries) installed on the lawnmower robot.
"Purchase Date": the natural person acting for purposes unconnected with any entrepreneurial, commercial, craft or professional activity, who has registered the STIGA lawnmower robot on the www.stiga.com.
"Term": a period starting from the expiration of the legal warranty or from the expiration of possible further official STIGA conventional warranty campaigns concerning the STIGA Robot Mower and provided by the STIGA Group (excluding possible conventional warranties, extensions or prorogation of the legal warranty offered by third parties) and up to a maximum of an aggregate warranty period (considering both legal and conventional warranty) of 5 years from the purchase date. For ePower batteries, the service life is a maximum of 5
years or a maximum of 2,000 charge cycles, whichever comes first.
"Warranty": this conventional warranty.
"Electronic Parts": For the purposes of this warranty, electronic parts means the main board, power board, coil board, shock and lift sensor boards, GNSS boards, charger board.
"STIGA": Stiga S.p.A, with registered office in 31033 Castelfranco Veneto (TV), VAT n. 07684381002.
“Robot Mower”: both wire-guided and autonomous robot mowers from STIGA listed hereinafter:

"Authorised Reseller": authorised STIGA reseller from which the Product was purchased and / or the nearest authorised service centre as displayed under www.stiga.com/int/sales-network
2. WARRANTY TERMS
2.1 Subject and Term of the Warranty
STIGA warrants the electronical parts, ePower batteries as well as motors of the Robot Mowers from production and material defects according to the terms, limits and conditions listed below. This Warranty is subject to the fulfilment of all the following requirements:
the STIGA Robot Mowers is bought from an authorised STIGA reseller between September 1st 2022 and December 31st 2025; and
the STIGA Robot Mower is registered on www.stiga.com/int/product-registration no later than 30 days from the Purchase Date; and
the annual maintenance has been regularly carried out starting from purchase date and the Purchaser is able to provide evidence thereof.
The Warranty operates solely in favour of the Purchaser.
2.2 Content and limitation of this Warranty
In the event STIGA recognises the existence of a vice or defect in the electronical parts, ePower battery or motors of the Robot Mower validly claimed in accordance with this document, STIGA, at its sole discretion, will provide to Purchaser one of the following alternative remedies:
fixing without charge the Robot Mower or the defective parts thereof; or
replacement without charge of the Robot Mower or the defective parts thereof; or
In the event the robot mower type found to be defective is unavailable, STIGA will replace the defective Robot Mower (or parts of it) with a similar Robot Mower that has the same value.
The interventions, repairs and replacements, under this Warranty, will take place without any additional charge for the Purchaser.
The Warranty does not apply to:
Specific components other than electronical parts or motors of the Robot Mower and however not to parts subject to normal wear and tear such as, but not limited to, blades, wheels and gaskets, and any accessories. It remains understood that such components remain fully covered by the legal warranty.
charging base, cabling and keyboard;
Non original STIGA Robot Mowers or those which were bought from a non-authorised STIGA dealer;
Robot Mowers used for sampling and/or display; hired or supplied to the Buyer as a temporary replacement;
Robot Mowers that have been modified by the Purchaser or by third parties;
Defects arising from normal use;
Defects caused by abuse or incorrect use of the Robot Mower;
Defects caused by incorrect or insufficient maintenance such as, by way of example, defects arising from material corrosion, use of aggressive cleaners or incompatible products, from fixings carried out by third parties other than the Authorised Reseller;
Defects arising from accidents and other events not caused by defects covered in this Warranty;
Defects that were visible or easily detectable at the time of purchase of the STIGA Robot Mower;
Alterations resulting from environmental, climatic or other conditions;
This Warranty is solely applicable to the Purchaser, as it results from the registration on the website www.stiga.com.
STIGA is not liable under this Warranty for damages of whatever nature, as its liability is limited to the remedies expressly indicated in this Warranty, unless otherwise provided for by any applicable laws. In particular, indirect, consequential or incidental damages are excluded.
In case of warranty replacement of a Robot Mower:
the replacing Robot Mower does not benefit from a new conventional warranty according to the terms and conditions set forth in this document;
the replaced Robot Mower becomes property of Stiga.
2.3 Claim Procedure
In order to correctly file a claim under this Warranty, the following procedure shall be followed under penalty of forfeiture. The correct execution of the following procedure will benefit from the Warranty, provided that the defect is recognised by STIGA in accordance with this document.
In order to claim for a defect and/or vice in the Robot lawn mower, the purchaser shall contact an authorised STIGA dealer within 15 days of discovering the defect and/or fault. The Purchaser undertakes not to use the lawn mower that is found to be defective after the defect has been discovered.
The Purchaser agrees to return the Robot Mower to the authorised dealer in a clean condition, together with:
copy of the accounting document of purchase of the Robot Mower and/or equivalent document indicating the identification references, type and model of the STIGA Robot Mower, the Date of Purchase, the date of delivery of the robot mower, the name of the Purchaser and the place of delivery of the Robot Mower;
document proving the registration of the STIGA Robot Mower on the STIGA website;
proof of the annual maintenance of the Robot Mower done starting from the Purchase date;
a detailed description of the defect;
indication of whether there is a will for the robot mower to be given back if the Warranty was not recognized as effective.
The existence of the defect will be verified by STIGA, or by the staff appointed by the latter; therefore, the effectiveness of the Warranty pursuant to and for the purposes of this document is always subject to prior inspection and authorization by STIGA.
3. APPLICABLE LAW AND COMPETENT JURISDICTION
This Warranty is subject to the law of the country in which the Purchaser has its residency.
Any controversy arising from, or connected to, the validity, interpretation, execution of this Warranty will be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent Court of the country in which the Purchaser has its residency.
